64. Linus George⁴ Vosberg (Mary Margaret³ Berning, Catherine² Averkamp, Anton Vicentius¹) was born in Hazel Green, Grant Cty, WI April 13, 1918. Linus died January 4, 2002 in Fort Worth, TX, at 83 years of age.

San Antonio Express News VOSBERG January 6, 2002 Linus George Vosberg, 83, died Friday, January 4, 2002 at a Fort Worth hospital surrounded by his family. Funeral: 1:00 P.M., Tuesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 5:00 P.M., Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Linus was born April 13 1918 in a farmhouse in Hazel Green, WI. He married Dorothy Powers in 1945 and they farmed until 1968 when they moved from Wisconsin and became proud Texans. He worked for Bell Helicopter and did maintenance and security work until his retirement at age 63. After his retirement, he and his wife remained active doing volunteer work for Meals on Wheels and the Fort Worth Food Bank, as well as, extensive traveling. He was a devout Catholic, an avid dancer, craftsman and especially a loving and supportive father to 13 children which he referred to as his '13 Little Gems'. He was a longtime member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, in 1995 and sons, Robert in 1988 and Kevin in 1977. Survivors: daughters, Susan Peart, Diane Parnell, Karen Milligan, Vicki Lumpkins and Lynn Jessee; sons, Glenn, Mark, Bill, Larry, Jim and Jeff Vosberg; grandchildren, Scott and Brian Vosberg, Tammy Kasterke, Cindy Marlin, Crystal, Kevin and Kim Vosberg, Melissa Deitrich, Sara and Laura Vosberg, Stormey Milligan, Jacob, Natalie and Andrea Vosberg, Jordan Jessee and Garrett and Kara Vosberg; and great-grandchildren, Cecilia Vosberg, Daniel Kasterke and Courtney and Christopher McGuire.
