89. John Sidenham6 Coulthart (Walter5, John4, John3, John2, Christopher1) was born in Winchester, Dundas Cty, ON November 19, 1844. John died October 12, 1912 in Rudolph, Wood Cty, WI, at 67 years of age. His body was interred in Forest Hill Cemetery, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

He married Welthia Almira Parkhurst in Grand Rapids, Wood Cty, WI, June 7, 1871. Welthia was born in Rock Cty, WI December 13, 1854. Welthia was the daughter of Lyman Dellivan Parkhurst and Almira Bigelow. Welthia died March 14, 1911 in Sigel, Wood Cty, WI, at 56 years of age. Her body was interred in Forest Hill Cemetery, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Wood County Reporter March 30, 1911 Page 8, Column 1 PASSING OF MRS. JOHN COULTHART Mrs. Elmira Coulthart, the beloved wife of Mr. John Coulthart, of the town of Rudolph, passed away Thursday evening, March 16th, at 6:30 o'clock, after a lingering illness of four years duration with palsy. Prior to her death she had been confined to her room three months and one-half and had been helpless most of the time. She was a patient sufferer to the end. Everything possible known to medical science had been done for her by local physicians and the best of care given her, but nothing appeared to stay the progress of the disease. Mrs. Elmira Coulthart was born at Caverock, Wis., on Dec. 13, 1854. She came to Rudolph with her parents when she was only two years of age and has resided all her life upon the old homestead. She was married on June 7, 1871, to John Coulthart in that town where they have ever since resided. She leaves to mourn her death besides her husband four children, two boys and two girls. Walter Coulthart, resides in Canada and Raymond Coulthart is with his father in Rudolph. Mrs. Charles Wasser resides at St. Mary, Idaho, and Miss Edith is at home with her father. The funeral service took place at the M.E. church at Grand Rapids Saturday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, Mar. 18, 1911, Rev. Francis E. Pease officiating. The deaceased was a member of that church in good standing and a faithful worker. She was a devoted wife and affectionate mother who will be greatly missed at the family fireside. Wood County Reporter October 17, 1912 Death of John Coulthart EVERYBODY who enjoyed their personal acquaintance of John Coulthart, a successful farmer, in the town of Rudolph, Wood County, Wisconsin, will be saddened to learn of his passing away at his family residence in said town, Saturday night at 12 o'clock, October 12, 1912. Mr. Coulthart was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and one of its faithful members for many years. He was a kind Christian man honorable and upright in all dealings with mankind and for that and many other reasons was highly respected by everybody. He was born in Kinston, Ontario, November 19, 1844 and would have been sixty-eight years old had he live to November 19, 1912. He came to Grand Rapids, Wisconsin, when he was twenty-three years of age and located on a farm in the town of Rudolph, this county forty years ago. He was married to Welthia Parkhurst in 1871, who preceded him in death about two years ago. To this union seven children were born, four of who are now living. They are Walter Coulthart of Manitoba, Can., Mrs. Chas. Waser, of Cleleum, Wash., Raymond Coulthart of this city and Miss Edith Coulthart, who made her home with her father all of whom have the sympathy of their friends in Grand Rapids in this hour of their bereavement Mr. Coulthart was stricken with paralysis on March 11, 1911, since which time has been in poor health. He also leaves two brothers, Walter Coulthart of Grafton, N.D., and Christopher Coulthart of Grafton, N.D., and two sisters, Mrs. Dan Kimball of Minot, S.D., and Miss Nancy Coulthart who has been making her home with her brother in the town of Rudolph. The funeral service took place Wednesday afternoon, at 1:30 o'clock at the M.E. church in this city Rev Francis A. Pease of Waukesha, and Rev. H. C. Logan officiating. Mr. Coulthart was an exemplary man, kind affectionate husband and father a good citizen and a man who will long remembered for his many excellent qualities of head and heart. He died as he had always lived, in peace with all mankind.

child 249 ii. Maud Amira Coulthart was born in Wisconsin September 19, 1875. Maud died February 17, 1877 at 1 year of age. Her body was interred in Forest Hill Cemetery, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

child + 250 iii. Walter Lyman Coulthart was born August 29, 1877.

child + 251 iv. Mary Elisabeth Coulthart was born February 23, 1881.

child + 252 v. Edith E Coulthart was born August 8, 1883.

child + 253 vi. Raymond John Coulthart was born May 11, 1891.

child 254 vii. Theron Coulthart was born in Sigel, Wood Cty, WI December 29, 1892. Theron died April 8, 1893 in Sigel, Wood Cty, WI, at less than one year of age. His body was interred in Forest Hill Cemetery, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
