19. William⁵ Coulthart (John⁴, John³, John², Christopher¹) was born in Cummertrees, Dumfriesshire, Scotland June 25, 1800. William died April 3, 1880 in Cannamore, ON, at 79 years of age. His body was interred in Morewood Presbyterian Cemetery.

He married Jean French. Jean was born in Quass Lockerbei, Dumfriesshire, Scotland January 20, 1801. Jean was the daughter of William French and Henrietta Carruthers. Jean died June 12, 1844 in Ontario, at 43 years of age.

William Coulthart and Jean French had the following children:

+ 43 i. John Finley⁶ Coulthart was born November 2, 1830.

+ 44 ii. William French Coulthart was born June 16, 1833.

45 iii. Mary Carruthers Coulthart was born in Ontario July 10, 1835. Mary died June 15, 1919 in Cannamore, ON, at 83 years of age. Her body was interred in Morewood Presbyterian Cemetery.

+ 46 iv. James Coulthart was born October 10, 1837.

+ 47 v. Finley Coulthart was born August 15, 1840.

48 vi. Henrietta Coulthart was born in Ontario April 18, 1844. Henrietta died August 8, 1844 at less than one year of age.
