44. William French6 Coulthart (William5, John4, John3, John2, Christopher1) was born in Osnabruck Township, Stormont Cty, ON June 16, 1833. William died January 14, 1916 in Waseca, MN, at 82 years of age. His body was interred in Woodville Cemetery, Waseca, MN.

He married Anna Maria Fetterly in Barnhart's Island, NY, May 1852. Anna was born in Osnabruck Township, Stormont Cty, ON July 3, 1833. Waseca Herald January 20, 1916 William Coulthart passed away Friday evening at about 7:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A.S. Foster, with whom he has made his home for the past year. Death resulted from the weaknesses incident to old age after a two weeks' illness. The funeral took place at the house Monday afternoon at 1:00, Rev. Seager of the Methodist church officiating, and internment was made in Woodville cemetery. Deceased was over 82 years of age, having been born in Osbrook, Ontario, Canada, June 4, 1833. He was married to Miss Anna Fetterly in 1852 and three years later the couple came to this state, settling in Blue Earth. In 1870 they came to Waseca, which was the home of deceased until death of his wife in 1911. Since then he has resided with his daughters, Mrs. Hughes of Mankato, and Mrs. Foster of this city. Five children are left to mourn his loss; Mrs. A.S. Foster of this city, Mrs. Thomas Hughes of Mankato, David and John Coulthart of Minneapolis and Samuel Coulthart of McGill, Nev. He is also survived by three brothers, John Coulthart of Gouveneur, N.Y.; James and Finley Coulthart of Ontario, Canada; and one sister, Miss Mary Coulthart, also of Ontario; and 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Deceased was held in the highest esteem by all that knew him and his friendly manner won for him a large circle of friends, who regret his death and extend sympathy to the bereaved relatives.

William French Coulthart and Anna Maria Fetterly had the following children:

child 143 vi. William Coulthart was born in Blue Earth City, MN July 8, 1867. William died October 11, 1891 in Waseca, MN, at 24 years of age. His body was interred in Woodville Cemetery, Waseca, MN.

child + 144 vii. John Coulthart was born September 10, 1869.

child 145 viii. Sidney Coulthart was born in Blue Earth City, MN October 1, 1871. Sidney died August 1, 1872 in Waseca, MN, at less than one year of age.

child 146 ix. Baby Coulthart was born in Waseca, MN about 1875. Baby died about 1875 in Waseca, MN.

child 147 x. Thomas Coulthart was born in Waseca, MN October 11, 1879. Thomas died August 12, 1881 in Waseca, MN, at 1 year of age.
