He married Lora Waterman. Lora was born April 18, 1898. Lora was the daughter of Walter H Waterman and Hazel Maud Hoover. Lora died February 22, 1990 in Louisa, Louisa, VA, at 91 years of age.

Harold Hiram Coulthart and Lora Waterman had the following children:

+ 724 ii. Gerald W Coulthart was born January 29, 1922.

+ 725 iii. Carlton Harold Coulthart was born June 8, 1923.
