723. Donald E⁹ Coulthart (Harold Hiram⁸, William Finley⁷, John Finley⁶, William⁵, John⁴, John³, John², Christopher¹) was born May 27, 1918. Donald died August 19, 2005 in Stuart, FL, at 87 years of age.

He married Jean Catherine Woodger. Jean was born 1921. Jean died 2002 at 81 years of age. The Central Virginian Donald E. Coulthart Donald E. Coulthart, 87, died Friday, August 19, 2005 at the Treasure Coast Hospice Center, Stuart, Florida. He is survived by his son, William “Bill” Coulthart and his wife, Janet, of Cary, North Carolina; a daughter, Linda Miles and her husband, Thomas, of Palm City, Florida; his grandsons, Kyle Coulthart of Brandon, Florida, Kevin Coulthart of Lake Mary, Florida and Stephen Miles of Dallas, Texas; a granddaughter, Tina Leonardo of Weston, Florida; his great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jason and Emma Coulthart of Brandon, Florida, Thomas and Taylor Miles of Dallas, Texas, and Hailey and Hanna Leonardo of Weston, Florida. Mr. Coulthart was born May 27, 1918, the son of the late Harold and Lora Coulthart. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carlton and Gerald. Family moves, education and jobs brought him to Greenwich, Connecticut, where in 1940, he met his wife, Katherine Jean Woodger. He enlisted in the service in 1944 and was shipped out to serve in World War II as a member of 2765th Engineer Base Company. He served with the 655th Engineer Topographic Battalion in Europe until 1946. Upon leaving the service, he was honored with the European African Theater Campaign Ribbon, the American Theater Campaign Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal. He then joined the Army Map Service and served in a number of capacities for 28 years. After his retirement in 1972, Mr. Coulthart and his wife moved to Lake Louisa. In 1990, the family moved to Florida, and Mrs. Coulthart passed away in 2005. Interment, with his wife, will take place at a later date at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
