76. Christina6 Coulthart (James5, John4, John3, John2, Christopher1) was born in Ontario October 19, 1861. Christina died February 20, 1931 at 69 years of age.

She married Matthew Carlyle in Dunbar, Ontario, 1885. Matthew was born in Dunbar, Ontario May 22, 1846. Matthew was the son of Walter Carlyle and Jean Moffat. Matthew died October 6, 1912 in Calgary, Alberta, at 66 years of age. His body was interred in Old Union Cemetery, Williamsburg, ON. Matthew was born at the family farm in Dunbar and continued to farm the property after the death of his father. The brick farmhouse is still there, as well as the original barn. In addition to farming, Matthew used to improt and sell horses from Scotland. He lost the farm through financial losses in the horse business, following which he moved to a dairy farm in Lachine, Quebec in 1896. From that farm the family delivered milk in Montreal. IN 1903, Matthew and his family moved to a dairy farm near Melbourne, Quebec. In 1907, he returned to Lachine and built a small apartment house. Two of his sons, James "Weldon" and Thomas "Morton" had moved to Calgary, Alberta, and established a dairy. In 1911, Matthew and Christina moved to Calgary, Alberta to join his sons. We are told that he made the wheels for their milk wagons.
