120. Christie Ann6 Moke (Henrietta5 Coulthart, John4, John3, John2, Christopher1) was born in Osnabruck Township, Stormont Cty, ON January 8, 1870. Christie died April 24, 1950 at 80 years of age.

She married George Burton in Osnabruck Baptist, August 7, 1890. George was born July 17, 1866. George was the son of James Burton and Mary Ann Rombough. George died July 23, 1960 in Lunenburg, ON, at 94 years of age. His body was interred in Waterdon Cemetery, Lunenburg, ON. Mrs. George Burton Dies at Wales Aged 80 Years Wales - Mrs. George Burton passed away at her home in Wales, at the age of 80 years. Her maiden name was Christie Ann Moke, a daughter of Ira Moke and his wife Henrietta Coulthart, of Osnabruck. The youngest and the last surviving member of her family, she was predeceased on March 6 by a brother Johiel Moke, 5th Concession of Osnabruck. On August 7, 1890, she was married to George Burton, of Pleasant Valley, who survives. With the exception of year in Toronto and 15 years in Lindsay, she spent most of her life in Osnabruck. Surviving, besides her husband, are one son and four daughters, Harold Burton, Hagersville, Ont., Mrs. Ralph Bush (Hazel), North Lunenburg; Mrs. George McGill (Irene), 5th Concession, Osnabruck; Mrs. Lloyd Poapst (Helen), Eighth Line, Cornwall; and Miss Georgina V. Burton, Reg. N., at home. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral was held from her residence to the Osnabruck Baptist Church, the service being conducted by the minister Rev. David Alexander, assisted by Rev. Howard Hamilton, of Wales United Church, and Rev. E. Bugden, of North Lunenburg United Church. Hymns sung were "Just as I Am" and "Forever With the Lord". Mrs. Wilfred Zeron acted as organist. Attending the Funeral Relatives attending from a distance included Mrs. Harold Burton, Hagersville; Miss Hazel Burton, Hamilton; Miss Winona McGill, Ralph Burton, Ottawa; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Smith and Marion, Wayne Poapst, Mahlon Beckstead, Mr. and Mrs. Burton Beckstead, Chesterville; Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Morgan and family, Cortland, N.Y.; Mrs. Arthur Cummings, Syracuse, N.Y.; Mrs. Lawrence Brown, Miss Edith Loucks, Reg. N. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Loucks, Mrs. Fred Loucks, Russell; Mr. and Mrs. Allan Swerdfeger, Morewood; Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Carruthers, Williamsburg. Previous to the funeral, many friends and relatives from the village district and from Cornwall, Massena, Ottawa, Cardinal, Russell, Chesterville, Newington, Gallingertown, Farran's Point and Aultsville called at the home. Many lovely floral tributes from family and friends surrounded the casket. Pallbearers were Bruce Whittaker, Harold Corlyon, J.C. Wyatt, Ross Zeron, Orval Baker, and Ralph Zeron. Internment was in Lunenburg cemetery.
