379. Ford⁸ Carruthers (Ellen⁷ Coulthart, James⁶, William⁵, John⁴, John³, John², Christopher¹) was born in Ontario 1919. Ford died September 28, 2008 at 89 years of age.

He married Darlene Meldrum 1946. Standard Freeholder September 30, 2008 Carruthers, Ford -On Sunday September 28, 2008 age 89 years. Ford E. Carruthers of Finch. Beloved husband of the late Darline Carruthers nee-Meldrum. Loved father of Diane Campbell (Angus), Barry Carruthers (Barbara) all of Finch and Bonnie Duff (Rodger) of Newington. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jonathan, David, Andrew, Adam, Joshua and Stephanie. Dear brother of Luva Irven (Howard) of Morrisburg. Predeceased by his parents Hector and Ellie (Coulthart) Carruthers; one daughter Diana Lynn; one brother Archie Carruthers and one sister Betty McColl. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home,18 Front Street, Finch on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm [A Service In Celebration Of Ford Carruthers' Life Will Be Held In Morewood Untied Church On Wednesday October 1, 2008 AT 11:00AM.] Reverend Wendy Wright- MacKenzie officiating.
