498. Lois⁸ Finlayson (Jennie Maud⁷ Coulthart, Walter⁶, James⁵, John⁴, John³, John², Christopher¹) was born 1926. Lois died August 18, 2008 in Ottawa, Carleton Cty, ON, at 82 years of age.

She married William Ralph Winters December 29, 1945. William was born 1921. William died 1992 at 71 years of age. Ottawa Citizen August 20, 2008 WINTERS, Lois Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus on Monday, August 18, 2008 age 82 years. Lois Margaret Winters nee-Finlayson formerly of R.R.#1 Finch. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Winters. Loved mother of Shirley Forrest (Ed) of Arnprior, Jim (Wilma), Lynn (Linda) all of R.R.#1 Finch, Janice Bird (Roy) of Mississauga, Alan (Norma) of Cornwall, Elaine Shortt (Dave) of Ballinafad, Ontario, Barry (Robin) of Ingleside, Brent (Colleen) of Long Sault and Gary (Beth) of R.R. #1 Finch. Dear sister of Helen Ferguson (late Mel) of Brockville. Sadly missed by 27 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home 18 Front Street Finch on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. (A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF LOIS WINTERS' LIFE WILL BE HELD AT CHALMERS UNITED CHURCH IN FINCH ON FRIDAY AUGUST 22, 2008 AT 11:00AM). Reverend Lois Gaudet officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
