566. Robert C⁸ Coulthart (Walter⁷, Walter⁶, Walter⁵, John⁴, John³, John², Christopher¹) was born in Grafton, Walsh Cty, ND March 24, 1938. Robert died July 3, 2007 in Grand Forks, ND, at 69 years of age.

He married Gail Y Lokken. Grand Forks Herald Published Friday, July 06, 2007 Robert (Bob) Coulthart Robert (Bob) Coulthart, 69, Grand Forks, ND died at home on July 3, 2007 after a brave fight with lung cancer. He was born on March 24, 1938 in Grafton, North Dakota to Edith and Walter Coulthart. He retired in 2002 from the University of North Dakota after 28 years. Bob was an avid woodworker who loved to build furniture for himself and his family. He also ran an upholstery business for 28 years out of his home. Bob served in the Army for two years in Korea, then graduated from Molar Barber's School in Fargo, ND. He also spent time as a painter and a beekeeper. Bob was well known for keeping a supply of ice cream treats around so he could spoil the appetite of any neighbor kids who would stop by to say hello. He is survived by his wife, Gail; his sons, Curtis (Wanda) Coulthart of West Virginia, Dennis Coulthart of Minnesota, Chad (Sarah) Coulthart of Colorado; his daughter, Yvonne (Steve) Anderson of Minnesota. He had 5 grandchildren: Rachael and Elizabeth Anderson, Patricia and Natasha Coulthart and Jace Coulthart. He is also survived by his brothers, Roger (Sharon) Coulthart of Minnesota, Donald (Linda) Coulthart of California and Daryl (Beverly) Coulthart of Minnesota. He was also a nephew to many aunts and uncles; he was a cousin, an uncle, and father-in-law. Bob was loved by all of his family and friends and will be missed very much. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, July 7, 2007 in Calvary Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will continue for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery of Grand Forks. Memorials are asked to be directed to Altru Hospice of Grand Forks. Arrangements are with Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks, ND.
