305. Ira John⁷ Moke (Johiel⁶, Henrietta⁵ Coulthart, John⁴, John³, John², Christopher¹) was born June 6, 1892. Ira died May 13, 1972 in Cornwall, Stormont, ON, at 79 years of age. His body was interred in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Osnaburck Centre, ON.

He married Hazel Mae Donnelly. Hazel was born in Farran's Point, ON May 28, 1894. Hazel died January 10, 1981 in Cornwall, Stormont, ON, at 86 years of age. Her body was interred in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Osnaburck Centre, ON. Hazel Moke Hazel Mae Moke, 86, widow of the late Ira Moke of Lunenburg, died January 10 in Bestview Lodge, Cornwall. Born in Farran's Point, she was the daughter of the late Isaac Donnelly and the late Jenny Casselman. Mrs. Moke is survived by her son Lawrence, six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother George Donnelly and her sister Viva Richardson. The funeral took place January 12 from the Brownlee Funeral home with internment in Finch. Rev. McDowell of Winchester officiated. The pallbearers were Harold Rombough, Bill Rombough, Glenn Hollister, Murray Neville, Fraser Hanna, and Earl Beckstead. Ira Moke Funeral services for a 79 year old Osnabruck Township resident, Ira John Moke, were held May 16 at Brownlee Funeral home, Finch, with Rev. L.K. Chubb of First Baptist church, Cornwall officiating. Mr. Moke, a retired railway brakeman and farmer, died May 13 at Cornwall General Hospital following a short illness. He had resided at Lunenburg. He was the son of the late Johiel Moke and the late Gertrude Rupert. He is survived by his wife, the former Hazel Donnelly; a son, Lawrence, Ingleside; two brothers, Arthur, Ingleside; and Wess, Iroquois; four sisters, Mrs. Sheridan Rupert (Olive), Oswego, N.Y.; Mrs. Roy McEwan (Laura), Lunenburg; Mrs. Willis Bush (Eunice), Cornwall; Mrs. Rex Crandall (Ethel), Florida, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother and a daughter. Pallbearers were George, Dick, Reginald and Jerry Donnelly, Billie Rombough and Donald Moke, all nephews of the deceased. Mr. Moke was a member of Fairinault Lodge 256 AF and AM. Masons held a special service at the funeral home. Burial was at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Ira John Moke and Hazel Mae Donnelly had the following children:

+ 628 i. Lawrence Isaac⁸ Moke was born September 19, 1913.

629 ii. Gertrude Moke was born in Smith Falls, ON February 22, 1921. Gertrude died September 4, 1921 at less than one year of age.
