168. John Murray⁷ Gibson (Mary Elizabeth⁶ Hunter, Jane⁵ Coulthart, John⁴, John³, John², Christopher¹) was born in Medford, Steele Cty, MN September 15, 1889. John died December 28, 1969 in Northfield, Rice Cty, MN, at 80 years of age. His body was interred in Rose Cemetery.

He married Bessie Withers in Northfield, Rice Cty, MN, July 5, 1913. Bessie was born in Waterford, Dakota Cty, MN July 11, 1889. Bessie was the daughter of Albert T Withers and Lola C Dixon. Bessie died February 14, 1987 in Northfield, Rice Cty, MN, at 97 years of age. Her body was interred in Rose Cemetery.

John Murray Gibson and Bessie Withers had the following children:

+ 407 i. Marjorie Lola⁸ Gibson was born April 22, 1916.

+ 408 ii. Glennys Gibson was born July 14, 1920.
