171. William Francis⁷ Hunter (William Nathaniel⁶, Jane⁵ Coulthart, John⁴, John³, John², Christopher¹) was born in Sciota, Dakota Cty, MN April 19, 1880. William died November 1941 in Northfield, Rice Cty, MN, at 61 years of age. His body was interred in Oaklawn Cemetery, Northfield, MN.

He married Mae Belle Harter November 11, 1911. Mae was born in Iowa. Mae was the daughter of Harvey Harter and Hattie Tasker. Mae died September 5, 1940 in Prior Lake, MN. Her body was interred in Oaklawn Cemetery, Northfield, MN.

William Francis Hunter and Mae Belle Harter had the following children:

+ 409 i. Ethelbert Frances (Bud)⁸ Hunter was born October 8, 1912.

+ 410 ii. Wendell Eugene Hunter was born May 20, 1918.
