She married Herbert Ivan Law in Sciota, Dakota Cty, MN, September 28, 1926. Herbert was born in Northfield, Rice Cty, MN October 1, 1899. Herbert was the son of George Archibald Law and Mary Frances Burroghs. Herbert died December 1, 1954 in Northfield, Rice Cty, MN, at 55 years of age.

Laura Mildred Carpenter and Herbert Ivan Law had the following children:
