Osnabruck Man Ends Life in Tragic Manner Thomas Dalton Moke Found Hanging in Shed on Wednesday Thomas Dalton Moke 27 years old farmer residing in the 5th Concession of Osnabruck township about two miles from North Lunenburg, committed suicide Wednesday morning by hanging himself from a rafter in his barn. Provincial police investigated but were unable to find a motive for his rash act. Dr. J.M. Pollock, Avonmore district coroner, viewed the body, decided that it was a plain case of suicide and ruled that no inquest would be necessary. Moke had appeared to be in his usual health when he retired Tuesday evening but was acting a little strangely when he started out shortly after five o'clock the following morning with his 15 year old son Dalton Charles, to do his usual morning work. At about six o'clock the boy noticed that his father was not about but was not alarmed at the time. When Moke was still absent at eight o'clock, however a search was made for him. An hour later, his body was found hanging from a rafter in a shed. It appeared that the man had climbed to the rafter, placed a length of wire cable about his neck and dropped. Moke leaves a wife and three children, six, seven and 15 years of age.
Thomas Dalton Moke and Angelina Hoople had the following children:
