65. Eugene Joseph6 Janquart Sr. (Jean-Baptiste5, Jean-Joseph4, Hubert3, Amand2, Bauduin1) was born in Meux, Namur, Belgium May 12, 1843. Eugene died April 20, 1909 in Green Bay, Brown Cty, WI, at 65 years of age.

He married Celine Julienne Sonvaux in Meux, Namur, Belgium, October 14, 1863. Celine was born in Meux, Namur, Belgium April 5, 1845. Celine was the daughter of Joseph Sonvaux and Charlotte Julienne Radelet. Celine died August 28, 1915 in Union, Door Cty, WI, at 70 years of age. Her body was interred in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Namur. The Door County News September 1, 1915 UNION Death of Mrs. Janquart The entire community was shocked last Sunday upon hearing of the death of Mrs. Celina Janquart, which occurred on the night previous. Mrs. Janquart had never been seriously ill before. Saturday evening at about 6 o'clock in company with Mrs. Ed Macaur she left for William Struck's store which is one mile away, making the trip on foot. All went well on the trip to the store but on the return trip she was suddenly stricken and fell into Mrs. Macaur's arms dying five minutes after. Death being attributed to heart failure. The deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Oliver Tureur with who she made her home, and fives sons: John, Fabian, Gus, Emmanuel of Green Bay and Eugene of Menominee, Mich. Decedent was born in Belgium and was 72 years of age when called by the inevitable. The funeral was held on Tuesday from the St. Mary's church, internment was made in St. Mary's cemetery, Rev. Gloudermans officiating. A large concourse of friends, neighbors and relatives were present at the obsequies.

Green Bay Gazette April 21, 1909 SUDDEN DEATH OF A NORTH SIDE RESIDENT Eugene Janquart Passes Away from Heart Disease-Body is Found by One of His Neighbors. The sudden death of Eugene Janquart of the north side occurred shortly before 6 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home just east of the Green Bay & Western tracks. He was alone in the house and his body was found by a neighbor. The cause of his death was heart disease. Mr. Janquart had been feeling as well as usual of late. At the time of his death Mrs. Janquart was visiting her daughter in Brussels, Wis. Word was sent to her at once to notify her of her husband's death. Mr. Janquart, if he had lived, would have been 66 years old next month. He was born in Belgium, coming to this country shortly after he was married and settling on the north side in the town of Preble where he has conducted a garden for many years. He retired a short time ago, selling out to his son Manuel. Mr. Janquart is survived by his wife and seven children, five sons and two daughters. The sons are Eugene of Menominee, Mich., Fabian Gustave, Manuel and John of this city, and Mrs. Ecklart of Brussels and Mrs. Storer of this city. Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been made but it will be held from SS. Peter and Paul church of this city. Green Bay Gazette April, 22, 1909 The funeral of Eugene Janquart of the north side, who died suddenly Tuesday evening, will be held from SS Peter and Paul church tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Rev Father Anderegg will officiate at the funeral. The internment will be at the Fox Hills cemetery on the west side.
