He married Mary Tahler 1897. Mary was born in Scott, WI August 9, 1877. Mary died July 21, 1972 in Green Bay, Brown Cty, WI, at 94 years of age. Her body was interred July 24, 1972 in Fort Howard Cemetery. She was born Aug. 9, 1877 in the town of Scott. Her husband Gustave, who she married in 1897, preceded her in death in 1947. Mrs. Janquart was a charter member of St. Elizabeth Sanctuary Society of Annunciation Church. Survivors include one son, Donald; one daughter, Mrs. Russell (Blanche) Reynolds, both of Green Bay; 11 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. One daughter Mrs. Mathilda Vanden Branden Herman, preceded her in death one year ago. At Lyhndahl Funeral Home after 7 tonight and after 2 p.m. Sunday. Wake service 8 p.m. Sunday. Janquart, 93, Green Bay, went to meet "her Don," Friday, July 7, 2006, at Cardinal Ridge after a long illness. She was born April 25, 1913, in Marshfield. Marie moved to Green Bay to attend beauty college, and later opened her own salon. Here, she met Donald E. Janquart, and they were married on Oct. 16, 1937. During World War II, while Donald served with the U.S. Marine Corps, Marie served her country as "Rosie the Riveter" in a defense plant. Marie and Donald returned to their Green Bay home after the war and were members of Annunciation Parish. They enjoyed spending time at the family cottage. Donald preceded Marie in death Aug. 9, 2001. Survivors include her two "adopted children," Larry and Mary Ann Johnson, Green Bay; three grandchildren and their spouses, Cathy and Carl Buell, Franktown, Colo.; Steve and Mary Johnson, Julie and Bob White, all of Green Bay; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Ardis Witt; one brother-in-law, William Markowski; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother; three sisters, Henrietta Hastings, Catherine Markowski, Ella Witt; two brothers, Henry and Milton Witt. He was a graduate of Green Bay West High School. Donald is survived by his devoted wife, of 64 years, Marie. On Oct. 16, 1937, they were married. He was active in the U.S. Military during World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps where he attained the rank of Corporal upon discharge. Donald enjoyed spending time at the family cottage and fishing out on the Bay of Green Bay.
