He married Palmy Chaudoir in Namur, Door Cty, WI, February 5, 1924. Palmy was born in Union, Door Cty, WI April 5, 1905. Palmy was the daughter of Eli Chaudoir and Emma Everard. Palmy died March 2, 1999 in Green Bay, Brown Cty, WI, at 93 years of age. Her body was interred March 6, 1999 in Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay. Door County Advocate March 5, 1999 Palmy Jeanquart Palmy Jeanquart, 93, formerly of Namur, died at Parkview Manor Nursing Center, Green Bay, Tuesday, March 2, 1999. She was born April 5, 1905, in the town of Union to the late Eli and Emma (Everard) Chaudoir. Palmy married Harvey Jeanquart Feb. 5, 1924 at St. Mary of the Snow Church, Namur. He preceded her in death April 4, 1986. They farmed in the town of Union for several years. She was dedicated to the her family and community, enjoying her grandchildren, baking, nature and her pond. Palmy was a member of the St. Mary's choir for many years, a former member of the Belgian Club and a Christian Mother. Survivors include three daughters, Florence (Elmer) DeDecker, Sturgeon Bay, Dorraine (Ervin) Jadin and Bernadette (Allen) Moore, Brussels; son, Dennis (Sharon) Jeanquart, Brillion; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a sister Mary Gerondale, Green Bay; and brother, Harry (Hazel) Chaudoir Sr., Brussels. She was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson, Brian Jadin; two brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 6, 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Snow Church, Namur, the Rev. Pius Cotter officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Forbes Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church until time of services. A prayer service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Door County Advocate April 8, 1986 Harvey Jeanquart Funeral services for Harvey L. Jeanquart, 83, pioneer soil conservationist, former town chairman and county supervisor were held Monday at Forbes Funeral Home and the St. Mary of the Snow church at Namur, the Rev. Mel Wigman officiating. Entombment was in the Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Mr. Jeanquart, 1074 Pit Rd., Brussels, died Friday at the Dorchester Nursing Center after a long illness. He was born Oct. 9, 1902, in the town of Union, the son of Joseph and Celina (DeKeyser) Jeanquart, and on Feb. 5, 1924, was married to the former Palmy Chaudoir at Namur. He was a farmer until his retirement and was one of the first 10 cooperators in the Door county soil and water conservation district with his elaborate farm pond being a district showcase. He was Union town chairman and a member of the county board for many years. Surviving are his wife; three daughters and sons-in-law, Florence and Elmer DeDecker, Sturgeon Bay; Dorraine and Ervin Jadin, Namur, Bernadette and Allen Moore, Namur; a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Sharon Jeanquart, Brillion; a sister, Louise Rass, Luxemburg; a brother, Henry Jeanquart, Namur; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Ten brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Pallbearers were Kelly Moore, Nick Moore, Ralph DeDecker, Brent Jeanquart, Kurt Robertson and Mike Meyer.
