342. Alvin Harry8 Jeanquart (Joseph7, Joseph6, Charles Joseph5, Nicolas4 Janquart, Nicolas Joseph3, Amand2, Bauduin1) was born in Union, Door Cty, WI June 24, 1924. Alvin died December 7, 1997 in Green Bay, Brown Cty, WI, at 73 years of age. His body was interred December 10, 1997 in Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.

Door County Advocate December 9, 1997 Alvin Jeanquart Alvin Jeanquart, 73, Brussels, crossed over to be with the Lord on Dec. 7 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born June 24, 1924, in the Town of Union to Joseph and Anna (Servais) Jeanquart. He was a lifelong resident of the area. Alvin was a farmer and worked for Bay Shipbuilding for most of his life. He was the treasurer in the Boilermakers Union and the president of Door County National Farmers Organization. He retired from Bay Shipbuilding in 1986. He was board member of Sugar Creek School and a member of the Peninsula Belgian-American Club. He enjoyed square dancing, traveling and fishing. He attended Bethel Shalom Church. Oct 24, 1944, he married Della Marchant in Namur. She survives as do eight children, James (Gloria) Jeanquart, Brussels, Mary Ann Wanner, Algoma, Gerald (Dolores) Jeanquart, Brussels, Joe (Barb) Jeanquart, Duval, Alvin Jr. (Darlynn) Jeanquart, Luxemburg, Gail (Augie) Gonzales, Sturgeon Bay, Steven Jeanquart, Sturgeon Bay, and Timothy (Pamela) Jeanquart, Brussels; 23 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Harry Jeanquart, Brussels, Elmer (Dorothy) Jeanquart, Forestville, Harold (Mae) Jeanquart, Brussels; six sisters, Mathilda (Raymond) Ferron, Brussels, Marie (Wallace) LeCloux, Sturgeon Bay, Evelyn (Leonard) LeCloux, Sturgeon Bay, Ann (George) Vaness, Luxemburg, Sister Claudette Jeanquart, Bay Settlement, and Shirley LeCloux, Sturgeon Bay. He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son, Randy; one grandson, Nicholas; and two sisters, Irene Dufek and Blanche Cornette. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Forbes Funeral Home, Pastor Dawn Rass officiating. Entombment will be in the Good Shepherd Mausoleum in Green Bay. Friends may call Tuesday from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Forbes Funeral Home and Wednesday after 9 a.m. until the time of services. A prayer service will be conducted on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Alvin loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Alvin and his sense of humor will be greatly missed. Special thanks to Unity Hospice and St. Vincent's ninth floor nursing staff for their loving care and concern.
