482. Francis John9 Euclide (Fabian J.8, Marie Charlotte7 Janquart, Eugene Joseph6, Jean-Baptiste5, Jean-Joseph4, Hubert3, Amand2, Bauduin1) was born in Gardner, Door Cty, WI May 11, 1915. Francis died May 5, 2002 in Green Bay, Brown Cty, WI, at 86 years of age. His body was interred May 9, 2002 in Suamico Cemetery.
He married Emily Draize November 1937. Emily was born in Union, Door Cty, WI August 25, 1914. Emily died May 1, 2004 at 89 years of age. Her body was interred May 6, 2004 in Suamico Cemetery. Green Bay Press Gazette May 7, 2002 Euclide, Francis John Francis John Euclide, 86, long time resident of Suamico, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2002. At the time of his death he was residing at Woodside Lutheran Nursing Home, Green Bay. Francis was born on May 11, 1915, in the Town of Gardner in Door County. He was the eldest son of the late Fabian and Gertrude (Denil) Euclide. As a young man, he fished the waters of Green Bay and was a musician with the "Melody Masters'' of Manitowoc. In 1937, he met and married Emily Draize. In 1940, they left Door County so he could establish himself as a commercial fisherman in Suamico. In 1950, Francis took a job at Northwest Engineering Co., as a repairman and crane operator, and remained there until he retired in 1980. Francis was an avid fisherman and never lost his love for the waters of Green Bay. He enjoyed many hours of hook and line fishing with his dog "Tootsie.'' He was also a master woodworker who made clocks, boat wheels, and toys for his grandchildren. He is survived by Emily, his wife of 64 years; as well as their five children, Roy (Karin) Euclide, Arlington Heights, Ill.; Shirley (Melvin) Walters, West Bend; JoAnn Euclide, Green Bay; Arlene (Warren) Murphy, Little Suamico; Patricia (James) Judkins, Oconto. He enjoyed his nine grandchildren, Eric (Lori) VandenBusch, Jeffrey (Camie) Walters, Patricia Murphy, Michael (Kim) Walters, David (Heather) Murphy, Jennifer (Brian) Fleischman, Melissa (Scott) Kirst, Susan Kinjerski, and Jonathan Judkins. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Alexander, Megan, Kelly, Shelby, Theodore, and Jackson; two step-great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Tonya; four sisters, Blanche Devillers, Adeline Hannon, Laura (Clyde) Fidler all of Green Bay; Cecelia Hopkins of Tampa, Fla.; one brother, Robert Euclide, Abrams; as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Arnold and Charles Euclide; two sisters-in-law, Octavia Euclide and Carlene Euclide; three brothers-in-law, Gene Devillers, Joseph Hannon and Don Hopkins. Friends may call at the Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 South Oneida St., Green Bay from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the time of the memorial services. Memorial services Thursday 11 a.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Parish with the Rev. Jim Hablewitz officiating. Interment in Suamico Cemetery. WEST MASON MALCORE, 499-4100, is assisting the family. A memorial fund has been established in Dad's name at Woodside Lutheran Nursing Home, 1040 Pilgrim Way, Green Bay, WI 54304.
