202. Eugene J.⁸ Tureur (Julia⁷ Janquart, Eugene Joseph⁶, Jean-Baptiste⁵, Jean-Joseph⁴, Hubert³, Amand², Bauduin¹) was born in Namur, Door Cty, WI October 10, 1903. Eugene died February 10, 1968 in Green Bay, Brown Cty, WI, at 64 years of age. His body was interred in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Namur.

He married Mae M. Jaquart in Duvall, Kewaunee Cty, WI, June 1924. Mae was born March 24, 1906. Mae was the daughter of Mike Jaquart and Celina DeGruf. Mae died March 19, 1982 in Green Bay, Brown Cty, WI, at 75 years of age. Her body was interred in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Namur. Algoma Record Herald May 26, 1982 Mae Tureur Mrs. Mae Tureur, 76, R1, Brussels, died Wednesday, May 19, at St. Vincent hospital, Green Bay. She was born in Green Bay on March 24, 1906 to the late Mike and Celina Jaquart. She married Eugene Tureur at Duvall in June of 1924. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Arbutis) Simon, R1, Brussels; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Louie (Lena) Lardo and Mrs. Francis (Gladys) Dhuey, both of Green Bay; two brothers, Elmer Jaquart, Green Bay, and Willard Jaquart, Algoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, three grandchildren and a sister. Funeral services were held Friday at St. Francis Xavier church, Brussels, with the Rev. Mel Wigman officiating. Burial was at St. Mary of the Snows cemetery. The Forbes funeral home, Sturgeon Bay, handled arrangements. Green Bay Press Gazette February 11, 1968 Eugene J. Tureur Eugene J. Tureur, 64, 1139 E. Mason St. died unexpectedly Saturday morning in a local hospital. Born Oct. 10, 1903 to Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Tureur in Namur he lived her until moving to Green Bay where he has been employed as a cement mason for the Gerondale Construction Co. for the past 25 years. Survivors are his wife, the former Mae Jacquart; one daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Arbutis) Simon, Brussels; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. At Findeisen-Greiser Funeral Home after 7 tonight. Rosary will be recited at 8 tonight and Monday. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary of the Angels Church with the Rev. Joseph Mika in charge. Burial will be in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Namur.
