298. Homer Joseph Julan8 LeRoy (Marcelline7 Baudhuin, Marcellin6, Josephine5 Janquart, Jean-Joseph4, Hubert3, Amand2, Bauduin1) was born in Brussels, Door Cty, WI January 4, 1908. Homer died December 18, 1968 in Brussels, Door Cty, WI, at 60 years of age.

He married Alvina Alexander in Misere, Door Cty, WI, November 14, 1928. Alvina was born in Forestville, Door Cty, WI June 25, 1910. Alvina was the daughter of Daniel Alexander and Rose Wautlet. Alvina died August 22, 1999 in Algoma, Kewaunee Cty, WI, at 89 years of age. Her body was interred August 25, 1999 in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Namur. Algoma Record Herald August 26, 1999 Alvina LeRoy Mrs. Alvina LeRoy, 89, Algoma, went to her eternal rest on Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999. She was born June 25, 1910 in Forestville to the late Daniel and Rose (Wautlet) Alexander. Alvina married Home LeRoy on Nov. 14, 1928. Alvina was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Algoma. She loved to bake bread, rolls and Belgian pies for her family and friends. She also enjoyed making quilts. Alvina is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Bunker, Green Bay, and her seven children, and Peggie (Michael) Kruswick, Maine, and their two children; two sons, Linus (Annette ) LeRoy, Nebraska, and their two children, and Roger (LeeAnn) LeRoy, Green Bay and their three children; one daughter-in-law, Theresa LeRoy, Sturgeon Bay, and her six children; 27 great-grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence (Windy) Alexander; one sister, Ceceilia Grutzmacher; one brother-in-law, Alvin LeRoy; and sister-in-law, Mary LeRoy. She was preceded in death by one son, Donald; and grandson, Jacob Kruswick. Friends called at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24 and continued after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church until time of the Mass. Prayer service was at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Algoma, with Rev. Bill Kuhr officiating. Burial was at St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery in Namur. Algoma Record Herald December 26, 1968 Heart Attack Causes Death Brussels - Homer J. LeRoy, 60, R1, Brussels, died last week Wednesday at his home of a heart attack. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, when the Rev. John A Righino officiated in St. Mary of the Snows church, Namur. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. LeRoy was born Jan. 4, 1908, in the Town of Brussels, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis LeRoy. He married Alvina Alexander in Misere Nov. 14, 1928. He was a cabinet maker and a carpenter and a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and Holy Name society. Survivors are his wife; three sons, Donald, Sturgeon Bay; Linus, Loring Air Force base, Maine, and Roger, Brussels; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Jeanne) Bonker, Green Bay, and Peggy, at home; 18 grandchildren; three brothers, Ernest, Lawrence and Alvin, all of Brussels, and three sisters, Mrs. Moses (Esther) Jadin, Brussels; Mrs. William (Lucy) Kinnard, Casco, and Miss Mary LeRoy, Brussels. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
