Raymond died May 29, 2000 in Sturgeon Bay, Door Cty, WI, at 81 years of age. His body was interred May 31, 2000 in Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.
He married Jennie Derenne in Duvall, Kewaunee Cty, WI, June 29, 1938. Jennie was born in Red River, Kewaunee Cty, WI July 3, 1915. Jennie was the daughter of Joseph Dereene and Mary Dantoin. Jennie died May 3, 1997 in Green Bay, Brown Cty, WI, at 81 years of age. She was born July 3, 1915 in the Town of Red River to the late Joseph and Mary (Dantoin) Derenne. She married Raymond Baudhuin on June 29, 1938 in Duval and they farmed in the Brussels area for many years. She was a member of the Christian Mothers. Survivors include her husband, Raymond; a daughter, Diane (Larry) Renier, Forestville; two granddaughters, Pam (Bruce) Alberts, Brussels; Lisa (Marty) Baudhuin, Green Bay; four great grandchildren, Kristin Alberts, Matt, Nick and Kimberly Baudhuin; two brothers , Joe (Anna) Derenne, Luxemburg; Clem (Teresa) Derenne, Denmark; three sisters, Josie (Arnold) Prevost, Green Bay; Irene Holsbach, Algoma, Dorothy (Gene) Mancheski, Green Bay; three sisters-in-law, Ethel Derenne, Dyckesville; Rosemary Derenne, Casco; Arvilla Derenne, Green Bay. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kim; and three brothers, Goldie, Norris and Walter Derenne. Funeral services will be Tuesday May 6, 1997 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis and St. Mary Parish, Brussels with the Rev. Pius Cotter officiating, Entombment will be at the Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Forbes Funeral Home, Sturgeon Bay and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church until the time of service. A prayer service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. He was born on August 7, 1918 in the town of Union to the late Prosper and Mary (Virlee) Baudhuin. He married the former Jennie Derenne on June 29, 1938. She preceded him in death on May 3, 1997. Ray had recently moved to Pinecrest Village in Sturgeon Bay, after living all of his life in the town of Union on the home farm where he was born and raised. He was a cattle buyer, worked at the shipyards and sold Patz farm equipment. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors include his daughter, Diane (Larry) Renier, New Franken; two granddaughters, Pam (Bruce) Alberts, Brussels and Lisa (Marty) Baudhuin, Green Bay; great-grandchildren, Kristin Alberts; Matt, Nick and Kim Baudhuin; three brothers, Elmer (Neoma) Baudhuin, Lawrence (Grayce) Baudhuin, Green Bay; Harold (Joyce) Baudhuin, Casco; two sisters Blanche Junion, Casco and Viola Chaudior, Brussels; sister-in-law, Verne Baudhuin. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Kim Riedy; and brothers, John and Alfred; sister Mary Conard; brothers-in-law, Lawrence Chaudior and Fabian Junion; and sister-in-law, Noreen Baudhuin. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 31, 2000 at 4 p.m. at St. Francis and St. Mary Church, Brussels, the Rev. Pius Cotter officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church until time of services. The Forbes Funeral Home, Sturgeon Bay is in charge of arrangements. The family wishes to thank the staffs of Door County Memorial Hospital and Pinecrest Village for the caring service.
