Green Bay Press Gazette September 24, 2009 Chaudoir, Thomas Thomas Chaudoir, 63, Suamico, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. He was born in Sturgeon Bay on January 6, 1946 to Lawrence and Viola (Baudhuin) Chaudoir. Tom married Judy Anderson in Sturgeon Bay on April 1, 1967. Tom cared greatly for his family and friends. He enjoyed life, always putting others before himself. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1966 – 1972. In 2001, he retired at the age of 55 from Proctor & Gamble then moved from Green Bay to Suamico. Tom was a member of the American Legion Post #11 and the Pazaza Club. He was a Green Bay Packer season ticket holder and also attended a few Brewer games during the season. Tom and Judy enjoyed traveling in their retirement; they spent many Mardi Gras with his brother and sister-in-law Larry and Debby. Tom enjoyed his yearly trip to the Bristol NASCAR race with his friends Bud, Riley and Tim. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Judy; their children, Lori (Jeff) Nye, New Franken; Lisa Chaudoir, Minneapolis and Paul Chaudoir, Suamico. He is further survived by his mother, Viola Chaudoir; brothers, Lawrence (Debby) Chaudoir, Madeville, La.; Gary (Patty) Chaudoir, Sister Bay; Ted (Dee) Chaudoir, Namur; Bill (Cheryl) Chaudoir, Sturgeon Bay; Terry (Linda) Chaudoir, Madison and his sisters, Judy (Roger) Robinson, Algoma; Barbara (Dan) Van de Hey, The Villages, Fl. and Mary (Steve Krieger) Chaudoir, Pearl River, NY. Tom is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Chaudoir. Gathering time with family and friends will be held on Friday, September 25, 2009 from 4 pm until 8 pm with a prayer service at 5 pm conducted by the Pazaza Club Chaplin, at Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue. Visitation will continue on Saturday at the Nicolet Chapel, Nicolet Memorial Gardens, 2770 Bay Settlement Rd, at 10:30 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Deacon Michael D. Vander Bloomen officiating. Entombment will be in Nicolet Memorial Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Tom’s name. The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Vincent Hospital 6th floor ICU for the wonderful care given to Tom.
