64. Susanna3 McMahon (John Enoch2, Edward Matthew1) was born in Doylestown, Columbia Cty, WI March 24, 1866. Susanna died February 20, 1956 at 89 years of age. Her body was interred in St. Patrick's Church Cemetery, Doylestown, WI.

She married William Dominic Kennedy in Columbia Cty, WI, September 17, 1889. William was born in Waterloo, Seneca Cty, NY April 3, 1863. William was the son of James Kennedy and Bridget Gilligan. William died February 11, 1908 at 44 years of age. Columbus Journal Republican March 1, 1956 Rites Held Thurs. For Mrs. Kennedy Mrs. Susan Kennedy, 89, passed away at her home in Doylestown on February 20, 1956, following a short illness. Mrs. Kennedy had been a Doylestown resident her entire lifetime. A daughter of John E. and Elizabeth Starr McMahon, she was born in Doylestown on March 24, 1866, the eldest of a family of ten children. On September 17, 1889 she was married to William D. Kennedy of Lost Lake, her husband preceeding her in death in 1908. They were the parents of two daughters and three sons. Mrs. Kennedy had been a life long member of St. Patrick's church, the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters, the Royal Neighbors and the St. Patrick's Altar Society. She is survived by two daughters, Ruth, Mrs. T.J. Lynch of Doylestown, and Elizabeth, Mrs. John K. Doherty of Rio, two sons, Leo J. of Fall River and Earl of Milwaukee, one brother, Steven McMahon of Cornell, six grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other cousins. She was preceded in death besides her husband by one son, John J. in 1947, her parents and five brothers and three sisters. In addition to her own family she helped raise her sister's children upon her death when the family was very small, they are the following; Owen Kirley of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bernard Kirley, Lombard, Illinois, James Kirley, Milwaukee, Alice, Mrs. W.W. Pererson of Chicago and Winifred, Mrs. George Ladwig, of Columbus. Funeral services were held from the Thompson-Kellogg funeral home in Rio and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic church, Doylestown, on Thursday morning with Father James Kramer officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery. Six nephews acted as pallbearers, James and Arthur Kirley, Mark, Paul, Ervin and Eugene McMahon.

child 137 iv. Earl William Kennedy was born May 24, 1897. Earl died August 11, 1981 in King, Waupaca, WI, at 84 years of age. His body was interred August 13, 1981 in St. Patrick's Church Cemetery, Doylestown, WI. Columbus Journal Republican August 17, 1981 Earl Kennedy Earl William Kennedy, age 84, a resident of the Veteran's Home in King, Wis., died there on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 1981. Mr. Kennedy was born on May 24, 1897 in Doylestown, the son of the late William D. and Susannah (McMahon) Kennedy. He worked for the railroad for many years and served during World War I. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion Post No 47 and St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Survivors include his sister, Elizabeth (John) Doherty of Rio. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Leo Kennedy; and a sister Ruth (Tom) Lynch. Funeral services were held Thurs., Aug 13 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Doylestown, with Father Donald Beckius officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Kellogg-Vangen Funeral Home in Rio took charge of the arrangements.
