1. Edward Matthew1 McMahon was born in Ireland May 18, 1786. Edward died June 18, 1869 in Doylestown, Columbia Cty, WI, at 83 years of age. His body was interred in St. Patrick's Church Cemetery, Doylestown, WI.
He married twice. He married Rose Ann Kirley. Rose was born in Donamine, County Monaghan, Ireland June 1798. Rose died June 2, 1871 in Doylestown, Columbia Cty, WI, at 72 years of age. He married Catherine O'Neil. On Edward's gravestone in St. Patrick's cemetery: Front Edward McMahon Died June 18, 1869 Aged 83 YRS & 1 MO Back Erected by Hugh, Phillip and John McMahon to the Memory of Their Father and Mother, Natives of the Parish of Donemine Co., Monaghan, Ireland.
