155. John Forester⁴ McMahon (Stephen James³, John Enoch², Edward Matthew¹) was born January 4, 1900. John died May 27, 1985 in Chippewa Cty, WI, at 85 years of age. His body was interred in North Catholic Cemetery.

He married Mary Tice in Gilman, Taylor Cty, WI, October 26, 1935. Mary was born in IL July 26, 1904. Mary was the daughter of Jacob Tice and Agnes Roth. Mary died October 24, 1997 in Bloomer, Chippewa Cty, WI, at 93 years of age. Her body was interred in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery. Chippewa Herald October 25, 1997 Mary T. McMahon Bloomer - Mary T. McMahon, 93, of Bloomer died Friday, Oct. 24, 1997, at the MapleWood, Bloomer. She was born in Lena, Ill., July 26, 1904, to Jacob and Agnes (Roth) Tice. She married John McMahon Oct. 26, 1935, in Gilman. She moved to Donald in 1916, and then Bloomer. She is survived by her son-in-law Roger Bischel of Bloomer; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter: Patricia Bischel; five brothers; Raymond, George, Leo, Bill and Clarence Tice; one sisters, Mareverite Dachel. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 1997, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Bloomer, with Father Thomas Langer officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery, Bloomer. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Schriver Funeral Chapel, Bloomer, where there will be a 4:30 p.m. Parish Council of Catholic Women Rosary, followed by an 8 p.m. Christian Wake Service. Eau Claire Leader-Telegram May 28, 1985 John McMahon Bloomer - John F. McMahon, 85, died Monday at Golden Age Home, Chippewa Falls. He was born in Madison and married Mary Tice Oct. 26, 1935, in Gilman. In 1942 they moved to the Bloomer area. He worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad for many years, retiring in 1966. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Patricia Bischel, Bloomer; two brothers, Mark, Victor, both of Cornell; three sisters, Katherine Anderson, Cornell, Helen Quinlan, Rose Olson, both of Chippewa Falls; and eight grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Paul's Catholic church, with burial in the North Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Driscoll Funeral Home, where a parish prayer vigil will be at 8 p.m.
