158. Rose Margaret⁴ McMahon (Stephen James³, John Enoch², Edward Matthew¹) was born in Doylestown, Columbia Cty, WI June 26, 1906. Rose died December 24, 2004 in Eau Claire, WI, at 98 years of age.

She married Emil Carl Olson January 14, 1929. Emil was born June 6, 1906. Emil died November 3, 1963 at 57 years of age. Leader Telegram December 27, 2004 Rose Olson Rose M. She married Emil C. Olson in 1928. Emil died in 1963. She worked at Luther Hospital and Mount Washington Rest Home. Rose is survived by three daughters, Joan (Willard) Turner of Eau Claire, Barbara Olson of Eau Claire and Carla (Harry) Luedtke of Augusta, Wis.; 10 grandchildren, Darrel (Jane) Turner, Nicholas (Jean) Turner, Joel (Laurie) Turner, Mary (Scott) Heimstead, Colin Turner, Steven (Jan) Luedtke, Teresa (Larry) Makuakane, David J. Olson, Deborah (Rick) Krahn and Sally (Steve) Burns; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Audrey Olson of Eau Claire; one sister, Helen Quinlan of Chippewa Falls; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her: parents; husband, Emil; stepson, John “Jack” Olson; five brothers; two sisters. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Dhein officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. The family suggests memorials be directed to St. Joseph’s Home Hospice.
