160. Kathryn Elizabeth4 McMahon (Stephen James3, John Enoch2, Edward Matthew1) was born in Sullivan, MO April 11, 1914. Kathryn died March 3, 2002 in Chippewa Falls, WI, at 87 years of age.
She married Clark Anderson in Eau Claire, WI, 1934. Clark was born in Boyceville, WI December 29, 1893. Clark was the son of John Anderson and Jennie Blakely. Clark died December 18, 1979 in Ladysmith, Rusk Cty, WI, at 85 years of age. His body was interred in Woodlawn Cemetery. Chippewa Herald Telegram December 18, 1979 Anderson Clark Anderson, 85, Cornell, died early Tuesday morning at the Rusk County Memorial Hospital, Ladysmith. He was born Dec. 29, 1893 in Boyceville, the son of John Anderson and Jennie Blakely. In his early adulthood, he moved to Arnold. He enlisted in the U.S. Army July 23, 1918 and was assigned to Company F Infantry and served in France during World War I. He was a member of the York Koler American Legion Post 316, Sheldon. He farmed most of his life and was also an electrician. He is survived by his wife Kathryn McMahon; three sons William, Minneapolis, Robert, Zion, Ill., and Ralph, Waukegan, Ill.; a brother Howard; two sisters Mildred, St. Paul, and Mrs. Hazel DuChaine, Rockford, Ill.; and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Christ, Sheldon, with the Rev. Ronald Jarett officiating. Internment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cornell Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Wednesday and at the church before the service Thursday. Chippewa Herald March 6, 2002 Kathryn E. Anderson Kathryn E. Anderson, 87, a resident of Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation Chippewa Falls, and former Cornell resident, died Sunday, March 3, 2002, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls. She was born April 11, 1914, in Sullivan, Mo., the daughter of Stephen and Cecelia (Callahan) McMahon. She moved to Doylestown, Wis., as a young girl and later to northern Chippewa county. Kathryn married Clark Anderson in Eau Claire in 1934 and they farmed in the Sheldon area. After retiring, Kathryn resided in Cornell and alter moved to the Rutledge Home in Chippewa Falls before moving into Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation facility. Survivors include three sons, Robert (Sheryl) of Beach Park, Ill., Ralph of Waukegan, Ill., and Bill of Shoreview, Minn.; two sisters, Rose Olson and Helen Quinlan, both of Chippewa Falls; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clark; one son, Richard; five brothers; and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross Catholic church, Cornell with Father Jeremiah Cashman officiating. Burial will be in Cornell Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Borton Funeral home in Cornell.
