140. Pearl Elizabeth4 McMahon (William Joseph3, John Enoch2, Edward Matthew1) was born in Columbia Cty, WI March 19, 1893. Pearl died September 23, 1984 in Baraboo, Sauk Cty, WI, at 91 years of age. Her body was interred in Silver Lake Cemetery, Portage.

She married Hans Peter Johnson in Rockford, Winnebago Cty, IL, April 1, 1914. Hans was born 1886. Hans died August 24, 1969 at 83 years of age. His body was interred in Silver Lake Cemetery, Portage. Portage Daily Register September 24, 1984 Pearl E. Johnson Portage - Pearl E. Johnson, 91, a longtime Portage resident died Sunday Sept. 23, 1984 at the Jefferson Meadows Care Center in Baraboo. Funeral services will be held at Wednesday from Port Axtell Funeral home in Portage. The Rev. Theodore Timler will officiate. Burial will be in the Silver Lake Cemetery. Friends may call at the Port Axtell Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday. The former Pearl McMahon was born March 19, 1893 at Doylestown to William and Mary Kirley McMahon. She married Hans Peter Johnson on April 1, 1914 at Rockford, Ill. She was retired employee of Devine Savior Hospital and a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Portage. Survivors are two sons, Donald (Darlene) Johnson of Baraboo and Cyril (Charlotte) Johnson of Prairie du Chien, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1969 and six brothers and one sister.

"Cy" Johnson, 86, of Prairie du Chien died Tuesday June 29, 204, in Prairie Memorial Hospital, Prairie du Chien. He was born June 27, 1918 in Portage, Wis. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. Peter Lutheran Church, Prairie du Chien. Burial will be in Bridgeport Cemetery, rural Prairie du Chien. Friends may call from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Garrity Funeral Home, Prairie du Chien, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family, which will distribute them in Cy's name to several charities.
