175. Ethel Julia5 McMahon (Robert Emmett4, Anthony Patrick3, Hugh Peter2, Edward Matthew1) was born in Minneapolis, Hennepin Cty, MN June 29, 1919. Ethel died April 5, 2002 in Beloit, Rock Cty, WI, at 82 years of age. Her body was interred April 9, 2002 in Clinton Cemetery, Clinton, WI.
She married twice. She married James Farrell. She married Ferris Mead. Beloit Daily News April 8, 2002 Ethel Mead Ethel Julia (Farrell) Mead, 82, of Beloit, Wis., died Friday, April 5, 2002 in Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born Ethel McMahon on June 29, 1919 in Pardeeville, Wis., and graduated from Pardeeville High School before attending college in Whitewater, Wis. Ethel was an accomplished artisan who left a legacy of beautiful handmade quilts that she loved to make. Survivors are her five sons, Douglas (Lisa) Farrell of Sierra Madre, Calif., Daniel Farrell of Shopiere, Wis., David (Cheryl) Farrell of Waunakee, James (Connie) Farrell and Paul Farrell of Beloit, two brothers, Emmett (Ann) McMahon of Green Bay, Wis., and Robert (Jackie) McMahon of Clintonville, Wis.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Elaine McMahon of Pardeville, Wis.; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her spouses, James Farrell and Ferris Mead; an infant daughter, Jane and a brother James. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2002 in the Daley, Murphy, Wisch and Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, Wis., with Fr. Charles Zabler officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Clinton Cemetery, Clinton, Wis.
