189. Arlyce Mae4 Todish (John Edward3, George2, Martin1) was born in Racine, Racine Cty, WI October 26, 1923. Arlyce died January 30, 2007 in Greeley, CO, at 83 years of age.
She married Leonard Trossen in Omaha, Douglas Cty, NE, January 31, 1943. Leonard was born May 6, 1921. Leonard died July 4, 1987 at 66 years of age. The Tribune February 2, 2007 Arlyce Trossen Oct. 26, 1923-Jan. 30, 2007 Age: 83 Residence: Greeley Tribute: Arlyce M. Trossen was born in Racine, Wis., to John and Celine (Janquardt) Todish. In January 1943, she married Leonard Trossen in Omaha, Neb. before he left for to serve in the Army in World War II. They lived in Racine, until they moved to Minocqua where Mr. Trossen's parents owned and operated Joe's Trading Post. In 1969 the Trossens moved to Greeley. Mrs. Trossen was employed as the business manager of the Weld Mental Health Center, now North Range Behavioral Health, and retired in 1985. Active in community service, she served as a board member of WIRS (Weld Information and Referral Service), A Woman's Place, Hospice, St. Peter's School Board, and the Hospital Auxiliary. Mrs. Trossen died Tuesday at her home. Survivors: Two daughters, Karen Klingenberg and husband Milt of Loveland and Theresa Moran and husband Lew of Greeley; a son, Robert Trossen and wife Shelley of Fort Collins; and three grandchildren, Kelsey Klingenberg of Portland, Ore., Erin and Evan Moran, both of Greeley. Preceded in death by: Her parents, her husband, a son Len Jr., a brother John and a sister Marian. Services: Recitation of the rosary, 2 p.m. today and Memorial Mass, 2:15 p.m. today, both at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2222 23rd Ave., Greeley. Inurnment: In Racine at a later date. Leonard died July 1, 1951 in Minocqua, Oneida Cty, WI, at 7 years of age. His body was interred July 3, 1951 in Holy
Cross Cemetery. Journal Times July 2, 1951 Racine Boy, 7, Killed By Auto at Minocqua Seven-year-old, Leonard Trossen,
Jr. of 2201 Erie St., was injured fatally Sunday morning when he was struck by an automobile on Highway 51, two miles south of Minocqua.
Leonard was on a vacation visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Trossen of Minocqua. Dies in Hospital Leonard, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Leonard J. Trossen, died in Sacred Heart Hospital, Tomahawk, shortly after he was struck by a car while crossing the highway. Leonard
was born in Racine, March 18, 1944. He attended St. Joseph's Parochial School. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Karen
Elizabeth, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Todish of Racine, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Trossen, Minocqua. Funeral services will be held
at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at 303 Main. St., and at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph' Church, Monsignor H.J. Schmitt officiating. Burial will be in Holy
Cross Cemetery.
