She married Walter Bundy in Iron Mountain, Dickinson Cty, MI, June 28, 1930. Walter was born in Grover, Marinette Cty, WI November 7, 1908. Walter was the son of Nickoles Bundy and Jennie ?. Walter died August 27, 1997 in Peshtigo, Marinette Cty, WI, at 88 years of age. His body was interred in Riverside Cemetery, Peshtigo. Marinette Eagle Herald August 28, 1997 Walter Bundy Walter Bundy, age 88, died Wednesday, August 27, 1997 at Rennes Health Center-West in Peshtigo where he was a resident. He was born on November 7, 1908 in the Town of Grover to the late Mr. and Mrs. Nickoles (Jennie) Bundy. He married the former Viola Deschaine who preceded him in death on October 23, 1983. Walter worked in the Badger Paper Mill wax room until he retired 25 years ago and was a member of the Badger Paper Mill 35 year club and BPM Retirement club. He loved to fish and hunt. He is survived by 2 sons; Dale (Carol) Bundy of Peshtigo and Ronald (Jean) Bundy of Cedarburg, Wisconsin; 4 daughters, Rosemary Schingick of Peshtigo, Mrs. David (Sandra) Weir of Peshtigo, Beverly Beechner of Peshtigo and Mrs. Francis (Shirley) Pentony of Sabestion, Florida; 24 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and 3 brothers. Visitation will be at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral home on Friday (August 29th) from 4:00 p.m. time of services there at 7:00 p.m. Badger Paper Mill Retirement Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Friday Rev. John Shallow will officiate. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo. Marinette Eagle Star October 24, 1983 Mrs. Walter Bundy PESHTIGO - Mrs. Walter Bundy, 72, of 250 Brown Ave., died early today at Marinette General Hospital. The former Viola Deschaine was born at Hiles Nov. 14, 1910. She had lived in this area most of her life. She was married June 28, 1930, in Iron Mountain. Mrs. Bundy was employed by Milwaukee Glove Co., the former Marinette Knitting Mills and the former Unit Structures. She retired in 1951. Surviving besides her husbands are four daughters, Mrs. Francis Pentony of Sussex, Mrs. Ronald Beechner of Wallace, Mrs. Allen Schingick and Mrs. David Weir of Peshtigo; two sons, Ronald of Cedarburg and Dale of Peshtigo; two sisters, Mrs. Clinton Gustafson of Menominee and Mrs. Webster Dufresne of Chula Vista, Calif; 27 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. A grandson, two brothers and two sisters died previously. Friends may call at the Harper Funeral Home Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. when services will be held. Deacon James Downs will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Six grandsons will be honorary pallbearers; Steven Pentony, David Schingick, Kevin and Scott Bundy, James Weir and Michael Beechner.
