child 546 vi. John Patrick Schingick was born in Menominee, Menominee Cty, MI September 22, 1963. John died November 16, 1979 in Peshtigo, Marinette Cty, WI, at 16 years of age. His body was interred November 20, 1979 in Riverside Cemetery, Peshtigo. Marinette Eagle Star November 17, 1979 Youths Die in Accident Here Two Peshtigo youths were pronounced dead at the scene of an accident at 11:10 p.m. Friday on County Trunk B in the Town of Peshtigo. Marinette County Deputy Coroner Dave Snyder identified the victims as Scott D. Mushynski, 16, of 460 McCagg St. and John Schingick, 16, of 370 Oconto Ave. Snyder said Mushynski died of chest injuries. Cause of death for the second youth was listed at a skull fracture. According to Sheriff Joseph M. Larson, the accident occurred when a car driven by Mushynski skidded and struck a car driven by Gloria A. Melka, 43 Route 1, Marinette. Mrs. Melka was treated Marinette General Hospital and released. A passenger in the Mushynski car, Laurie Beecher, 16, of 151 Chicago Court, Peshtigo, was admitted to Marinette General for treatment of rib injuries. A second passenger, Bonnie M. Beecher, 15, also of 151 Chicago Court, was treated and released. John P. Schingick was born September 16, 1963 in Menominee. He was junior at Peshtigo High School. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Schingick, a brother David Allen, at home; seven sisters, Mrs. James Renner of Marinette, Mrs. Bruce Chaltry of Peshtigo and Sandra Lee, Betty Marie, Penny Lynn, Marie and Pam Sue, all at home, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bundy, Peshtigo. Friends may call at Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home Monday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until services are held at 11 a.m. The Rev. William Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.
