178. Harry4 Todish (Frank Oliver (Bob)3, George2, Martin1) was born in Menominee, Menominee Cty, MI March 4, 1915. Harry died August 21, 2000 in Grand Rapids, Kent Cty, MI, at 85 years of age. His body was interred August 25, 2000 in Resurrection Cemetery.
He married twice. He married Lucy Myckowiak. Lucy was born in Grand Rapids, Kent Cty, MI March 12, 1909. Lucy was the daughter of Michael Myckowiak and Florence ?. Lucy died November 10, 2004 in Lansing, MI, at 95 years of age. Grand Rapids Press November 11, 2004 Lucille Woodrick WOODRICK - Mrs. Lucille June (Myckowiak) (Todish) Woodrick peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, November 10, 2004 in Lansing, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Florence Myckowiak; her loving husband of 43 years, Oral W. Woodrick; and her second husband, Harry Todish. A brother Laverne also preceded her in death. Lucille was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to sew and cook and was most happy when she was doing for others. She enjoyed gardening and traveling. She was a member of Berean Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by her three sisters and one brother, Evelyn (Larry) Groendyk of Rockford, Arlene (Louis) Arkema of Grand Rapids, Gladys (John) Ebels of Hudsonville, Michael (Phyllis) Myckowiak of Charlotte; daughter and son-in-law, Linda (Kenneth) Dyer of Lansing; granddaughter, Diane Dyer of Lansing: granddaughter, Susan (Richard) Metcalf of Okemos; her precious great-grandchildren, Sarah Beth and Ryan David Metcalf. Lucille was born March 12, 1909 in Grand Rapids, MI and was a member of the 1925 graduating class at Central High School. Relatives and friends may meet her family from 6 to 9 P.M. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Avenue, N.E. at 3 Mile Road. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. He married Dorothy (DoDo) A McPheter June 14, 1935. Dorothy was born in Michigan July 9, 1914. Dorothy died August 11, 1983 in Grand Rapids, Kent Cty, MI, at 69 years of age. Grand Rapids Press TODISH August 23, 2000 Harry Todish, aged 85, passed away Monday, August 21, 2000. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Todish; parents, Frank and Jennie Todish; sisters, Irene Eberhard and Barbara Newman; brother, Robert C. Todish. Surviving are his wife, Lucy Todish; son,Timothy J. (Colleen) Todish; daughter, Kit (Mike) Domers; son, Terrence (Marian) Todish; grandchildren, Timothy R. Todish, Jason and Brian Domers and Bree Todish and many cousins and nephews. Harry worked for 60 years in the Steel Industry as a buyer and salesman, retiring in 1992. He was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, National Eagle Scout Association and a longtime parishioner of Blessed Sacrament and St. Mary's Catholic Churches. Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:00 AM on Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 423 First St., N.W. (meet at church) with the Rev. Dick Host as Celebrant. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet his family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Thursday at the Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave., N.E., at 3 Mile Rd. and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church on Friday. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Gerald R. Ford Council Boy Scouts of America or a charity of one's choice.
