She married Joseph William Thill in Beloit, Rock Cty, WI, October 7, 1939. Joseph was born in Port Washington, WI April 11, 1917. Joseph was the son of Frank Thill and Josephine Ries. Joseph died August 3, 1989 in Milton, Rock Cty, WI, at 72 years of age. His body was interred August 5, 1989 in St. Mary's Cemetery, Milton. Janesville Gazette August 4, 1989 Thill, Joseph W. He married Margaret McComb Oct. 7, 1939 in Beloit and was employed at GMAC before retiring in 1980; he had farmed for many years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Milton. He is survived by his wife; 2 daughters, Deanne (Kenneth) Brackett of South Milwaukee and Shirley (Ralph) Sharafinski of Oak Creek; 5 grandchildren; 1 sister Marie (Joseph) Steiman of Janesville. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Sat. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Milton with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. She was 90 years old. Margaret was born on Feb. 24, 1918, in South Beloit, IL, the daughter in of Berton and Helen (Todish) McComb. She attended Brother Dutton Grade School in Beloit and was a graduate of Beloit Memorial High School.
On Oct. 7, 1939, Margaret married Joseph Thill at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Beloit, where she was a former member of the Marian Guild Society. Joseph preceded her in death on Aug. 3, 1989. She was currently a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in South Milwaukee for the past 12 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley (Ralph) Sharafinski of Oak Creek and Deanna Brackett of South Milwaukee; five grandchildren: Michelle (Jim) McLellan, Kenneth C. Brackett and Ralph (Julie), Todd (Christy) and Doug (Lisa) Sharafinski; 11 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, Kenneth Brackett; five brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, from 9 until 9:45 a.m. at the SCHMIDT & BARTELT FUNERAL HOME, 315 Main St., Mukwonago, WI, followed by a Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. at ST. PIUS V ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 425 Grand Ave., Mukwonago. Fr. John Young will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Milton.
