192. Virginia Dorothea⁴ Todish (Walter Joseph³, George², Martin¹) was born in Beloit, Rock Cty, WI August 28, 1916.⁽¹⁷⁾ Virginia died September 26, 2004 in Beloit, Rock Cty, WI, at 88 years of age.

She married Charles Alfred Lamb in South Beloit, Winnebago Cty, IL, October 26, 1935. Charles was born in Beloit, Rock Cty, WI January 13, 1913. Charles was the son of Charles W. Lamb and Elizabeth Shepard. Charles died November 4, 1989 in Beloit, Rock Cty, WI, at 76 years of age. His body was interred in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Beloit Daily News November 6, 1989 Lamb Charles A. Lamb Sr., 76, of 42 Plum Tree Village, Beloit, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 1989, at his home, following a long illness. A lifelong Beloit resident he was born Jan. 13, 1913, in Beloit, the son of Charles W. and Elizabeth Shepard Lamb. He married Virginia Todish Oct. 26, 1935, in South Beloit. He was employed at Fairbanks Morse Co. (Colt Industries) as a machinist from 1947 to 1972, when he retired due to a disability. He was a member of the Fairbanks Morse Quarter Century Club and Atonement Lutheran Church, Beloit. He is survived by his wife Virginia; two sons, Charles A. Lamb Jr., of Rockford, James E. (Michelle) Lamb of Milwaukee; one daughter, Marjorie (Richard) Berner of South Beloit; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8 in the chapel at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens Cemetery, South Beloit, with the Rev. Michael A. Sullivan of the Atonement Lutheran church officiating. Inurnment will be in the cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Wisconsin Heart Fund. A Beloit resident for most of her life, Virginia was born Aug. 28, 1916 in Beloit, the daughter of Walter J. and Hazel (Carey) Todish. She married Charles A. Lamb, Sr. Oct. 26, 1935 in South Beloit, Ill. He died Nov. 4, 1989. She was employed in retail in her early years and also worked at Fairbanks Morse Co., retiring from Beloit Iron Works. Virginia is survived by one daughter Marjorie A. (Richard) Berner; a son, James E. Lamb and one estranged son Charles A. Lamb Jr.; ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and a sister-in-law, Mary Todish, of Boynton Beach, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, parents, one sister Josephine and four brothers, Ross, Walter, Russell and James. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Lung Association. Schoenfeld Funeral Home 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit is assisting the family.
