He married Margaret Larsen in Waukegan, IL, December 13, 1947. Margaret was born August 6, 1926. Margaret died October 23, 2004 in WI, at 78 years of age. She was employed by Lathrop Hardware. She was an active member of St. Sebastian's Congregation in Sturtevant for more than 40 years. She also was a member of the Old Timers Club and the Racine Garden Club. Survivors include two brothers, James Larsen of Racine and Norbert (Shirley) Larsen of Lakeland, Fla.; one sister, Laverne (William) French of Racine; and sisters-in-law Carol Larsen of Racine and Lynette Larsen of Crivitz. The family has suggested memorials Masses for her or memorials to St. Sebastian Catholic School, 3030 95th St., Sturtevant, WI 53177. He was born in Menominee, Mich., on November 20, 1923. On December 13, 1947, in Waukegan. Ill., he married Margaret (nee: Larsen) Todish. Robert proudly served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. After leaving the service he sailed the great lakes later working for Modine manufacturing. He then was the owner and operator of White Flash in Sturtevant, eventually to retire from American Motors after 27 years of service. He loved football and baseball in his younger years. Became an avid Packer fan and was able to watch and enjoy their last win this past Monday night. He is survived by his wife, Margaret of Sturtevant; two step-sisters, Joyce Stewart of Fla., and Anita Plato of Brookfield; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, William (Leverne) French of Racine, Bill (Lynette) Larsen of Crivitz, Norbert (Shirl) Larsen of Fla., Carol Larsen of Racine and James Larsen, also of Racine; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Funeral services will be at St. Sebastian's Catholic Church, 3126 95th Street, Sturtevant. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 14, 2002, at 10 a.m. with Reverend James Kendzierski, O.F.M. officiating. Inurnment will be at Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Memorials in Bob's memory to St. Sebastian's Church have been suggested.
