73. Pearl Catherine (Loretta)⁴ Wise (Mary³ Todish, John², Martin¹) was born in Menominee, Menominee Cty, MI April 30, 1912. Pearl died November 19, 1983 in Racine, Racine Cty, WI, at 71 years of age. Her body was interred in Calvary Cemetery, Racine, WI.

She married Dennis Joseph Leannah in Menominee, Menominee Cty, MI, January 12, 1931. Dennis was born in Marinette, Marinette Cty, WI February 14, 1911. Dennis died March 11, 1978 in Racine, Racine Cty, WI, at 67 years of age. His body was interred March 13, 1978 in Calvary Cemetery. Journal Times March 12, 1978 Leannah, Dennis J. Age 67. Passed away on Saturday March 11, 1978 at his residence. Mr. Leannah was born in Marinette, Wis. On February 14, 1911 and had resided in Racine for over 38 years. He was united in marriage to the former Pearl Wise in Menominee, Mich. And was employed by Young Radiator, retiring as a foreman in 1979. Mr. Leannah was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, a member of Local 37 at Young Radiator and also was active in other union affairs. Survivors include his wife, Pearl; two daughters and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald (Jeanne) Sura of Racine and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond (Shirley) Crump of Kenosha; seven granddaughters an six grandsons; three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson; also by his mother Mrs. Blanche Leannah; three brothers, Francis, James and Robert; six sisters, Betty, Joyce, Blanche, Margaret, Evelyn and Sister Lucille. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph and five brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday March 13 at 8:30 a.m. at the Strouf-Sheffield Funeral Home and at 9:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Rev. Renald Kotecki officiating. Internment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 until 9:00 p.m. this (Sunday) evening at the Strouf-Sheffield Funeral Home, 1001 High St. Parish Vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. this evening. Journal Times November 21, 1983 LEANNAH, MRS. PEARL (NEE: WISE) 2047 Shoop St., Age 71. Passed away on Saturday, November 19, 1983, at High Ridge Health Care Center. She was born on April 30, 1912, in Menominee, Mich., and had lived in Racine most of her life. She was united in marriage to Dennis Leannah, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Leannah was last employed by Eagle Luggage. She was a member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald (Jeanne) Sura of Racine, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond (Shirley) Crump of Kenosha; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, at 7:30 p.m. at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, with the Rev. Gerald Schmitz officiating. Internment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and Friends may meet with the family on Tues evening from 6:30 p.m. until the time of service at 7:30 p.m. at the Church. In lieu of flowers the family has requested Memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
