458. Donald George⁶ Sura Jr. (Jeanne Marion⁵ Leannah, Pearl Catherine (Loretta)⁴ Wise, Mary³ Todish, John², Martin¹) was born in Racine, Racine Cty, WI May 2, 1952. Donald died September 19, 2007 in Eagle, WI, at 55 years of age.

Waukesha Freeman Donad G. ‘Duck’ Sura, Jr. May 2, 1952 - Sept. 19, 2007

Donald G. "Duck" Sura, Jr., 55, of Elkhorn, formerly of Waukesha, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Eagle. He was born May 2, 1952, in Racine, the son of Donald Sr. and Jeanne (nee Leannah) Sura.

He was a graduate of Racine Horlick, then went on to Carroll College in Waukesha, graduating in 1974 with a degree in business. On Aug. 30, 1975, Donald married Julie Pickup in Lake Zurich, Ill. He worked as a mason contractor for Ideal Masonry for the last 25 years and loved to do side jobs with Joey, Jimmy and Tim. He also enjoyed football and baseball. There was not a man who loved his family more.

Donald will be sadly missed by his wife, Julie, of Elkhorn; four children, Shannon (Joey) Hajewski of Whitewater, Erin (Steve) Flurry of Fond du Lac, Brianne Sura of Elkhorn, and Shane Sura of Madison; his brothers and sisters, Kathy (Rob) Robison of Racine, Mary (David) Coughlin of Burnsville, Minn., Pat (Diana) Sura of River Falls, Greg (Danelle) Sura of West Bend, and Christine (Coco) Sura of Salem; and his parents, Jeanne and Donald Sura, Sr. of Racine. He also is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, from noon until the 3 p.m. funeral service at First Presbyterian Church, 810 N. East Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. David Ellis will officiate.
