Phelps, age 76, of Menominee, passed away Friday March 12, 1999 at Bay Area Medical Center. Germaine was born April 8, 1922 in Menominee and was a life long resident. She was a member of Resurrection Church. She is survived by her daughter Patty Dausey of Menominee, 1 brother, Wallace Phelps of Menominee, 1 sister, Agnes (Joseph) Schuster of Bark River, Michigan and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 1 sister. Visitation will be private. Funeral will be Monday at Lemieux-Thielen Funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dino Silvestrini will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. Babe fought a courageous fight against cancer. She will be deeply missed for her kind and caring ways and for being a dear precious mother.
