98. Helen Ann⁴ Toddish (Kaiser John (Casimer)³, Jacob² Todish, Martin¹) was born in Taymouth, Saginaw Cty, MI May 20, 1912. Helen died April 3, 2001 in Birch Run, MI, at 88 years of age. Her body was interred in Calvary Cemetery, Mt. Morris, Genesee Cty.

She married James A. Kenny in Saginaw, Saginaw Cty, MI, September 20, 1936. James was born January 12, 1911. James died September 17, 1971 in Flint, Genesee Cty, MI, at 60 years of age. Helen A. Kenny 1912-2001 age 88 of Birch Run Twp. Died Tuesday April 3, 2001 at her home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday from Mt. Morris St. Mary Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Raymond Urbanek officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Kenny will remain at Miles Martin Funeral home where friends may call 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and all day Thursday. Wednesday evening the Clio Eagle Aerie #3609 and Birch Run Moose Lodge #2426 will gather at the funeral home for Moose memorial at 5 p.m. and Eagle memorial at 7 p.m. Thursday afternoon St. Mary Altar Society will gather at the funeral home to pray the Rosary at 2 pm. And the Parish and family will gather to pray the Rosary at 7 p.m. Friday morning Helen will be taken to church to lie in state from 10 a.m. until time of funeral Mass 11 a.m. Memorial may be considered to St. Mary Church, Genesys Hospice, or the charity of your choice. Envelops are available at the funeral home. Born May 20, 1912 in Taymouth Twp. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Casimer and Margaret (Pawlanta) Toddish. She and James A. Kenny were united in marriage September 20, 1936 at St. Casimer Catholic Church in Saginaw. He preceded her in death Sept. 17, 1971. Helen and her husband Him were active members of Sacred Heart parish in Birch Run until 1959 when they moved to Mt. Morris and became active and involved in St. Mary parish. Helen was a member and past president of St. Mary Altar Society and St. Rose Guild; member and past Madam president of Clio Eagle Aerie #2609 and a member of Birch Run Moose Lodge #2426. She was loved and admired by all who knew her. Helen spent her life working for her family, her church, her friends, and her community. She loved to cook, garden, play shuffleboard, watch football, play Euchre, and reading. Left to cherish her memory are her 8 children: 5 sons: Tom Kenny of Mt. Morris; Joe and his wife Judy Kenny of Birch Run; Bob and his wife Diane Kenny of Birch Run; Jerry and wife Rosemary Kenny of Columbus, IN; John Kenny and friend Linda Delecki of Clio. 3 daughters: Lois Hughes of Clio; Louise Kenny of Flint; Kathy and her husband Dale Kujacznksi of Clio. 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, Sister: Frances (Babe) Nagy, 2 sisters-in-law; Wanda Kenny of Saginaw, Helen Toddish of Birch Run. Numerous nieces and nephews, and an unlimited number of friends. Her pets: Buffy and Sam. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Carol, granddaughter Kathryn, sister Eleanor (Toby) Japcinski, and brother Casimer (Bud) Toddish.
