She married Gerhard Larson January 2, 1919. Gerhard was born April 10, 1899. Gerhard died January 19, 1976 in Menominee, Menominee Cty, MI, at 76 years of age. His body was interred January 21, 1976 in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee, MI. Marinette Eagle Star January 20, 1976 Retired Plant Employe Dies Gerhard (Doc) Larson, 76, of 1709 20th Ave., Menominee, died unexpectedly, Monday afternoon at his home. He was employed in the experimental department of Lloyd Manufacturing Co. for 49 years. He retired in 1964. A native of Menominee, Mr. Larson was born April 10, 1899. His wife Stella, died on Feb. 6, 1975. He was a member of Resurrection Church, the Goodfellowship Club and Lloyd Retirees. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. William Kramer, Mrs. Frank Kveton of Menominee; Mrs. Clarence Kraus, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Bernard Therriault of Manitowoc, a son, Herbert of Marinette. Also two brothers, Harold and Carl of Menominee; four sisters, Mrs. Enid Benesh of Farmington, Mich., Mrs. Marion Smith of Skokie, Ill., Mrs. Leo Newhouse, Marinette, and Mrs. Al Smith, Glendale, Ill.; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Final rites will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Church wit the Rev. Norman Clisch officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lemieux funeral home today from 4 to 9 p.m. Liturgical prayers will be recited there at 8 this evening. The former Stella Sobay, a lifelong resident of Menominee, was born March 11, 1901. She was married Jan. 2, 1919, and was employed for a number of years in the sewing room at Lloyd Manufacturing Company. She retired in 1965. Mrs. Larson was a member of Lloyd Goodfellowship Club. Besides her husband she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. William Kramer and Mrs. Frank Kveton of Menominee, Mrs. Clarence Kraus of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Bernard Therriault of Manitowoc, Wis., a son Herbert of Marinette; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Lemieux funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Liturgical prayers will be recited at 7 p.m. Final rites will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Resurrection Church. The Rev. Norman Clisch will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
