52. Lloyd Joseph4 Udelhofen (Harry Eugene3, Gerhart (Jerry)2, Nicholas1) was born in Platteville, Grant Cty, WI February 14, 1926. Lloyd died October 14, 1990 in Tennyson, Grant Cty, WI, at 64 years of age. His body was interred in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Tennyson, WI.
He married Rita Regina Droessler November 16, 1945. Rita was born in Tennyson, Grant Cty, WI December 9, 1922. Rita was the daughter of William Droessler and Angela Winkler. Rita died January 17, 1992 in Lancaster Memorial Hospital, at 69 years of age. Her body was interred in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Tennyson, WI. Telegraph Herald January 19, 1992 Rita R. Udelhofen Rita R. Udelhofen, age 69, of Lancaster, died Friday evening, Jan. 17, 1992, at Lancaster Memorial Hospital. The daughter of William and Angela Winkler Droessler was born Dec. 9, 1922, in Tennyson. On Nov. 16, 1945, she married Lloyd Udelhofen; he died Oct. 14, 1990. She was a 1944 graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing of Dubuque. and a member of the Mercy Alumni Association, St. Clement Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court of St. Rita Court 670. She was a registered nurse at Lancaster Memorial Hospital prior to her retirement. Surviving are four sons, Rick (Carol) of Bloomington, Mike of Big Patch, Mark (Rose) of Lancaster, and Jeff (Christine) of Lakewood, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Steve (Carol) Lewis of Lancaster; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Don and Joe Droessler, both of Potosi, and Bill Droessler of Rockford, Ill.; and three sisters Beulah Loeffelholz of Potosi; Mrs. Carl (Rose) Zart of Woodman, and Maxine Skemp of Hillsboro. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 20, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church of Lancaster, with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery of Tennyson. The O'Rourke-Schwartz Funeral Home of Lancaster was in charge of arrangements. Telegraph Herald October 15, 1990 Lloyd J. Udelhofen Lloyd J. "Hooter" Udelhofen, 64, 220 E. Hickory St., Lancaster, died at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit, Dubuque Sunday, Oct. 14, 1990. Mr. Udelhofen was born in Platteville Feb. 14, 1926, son of Harry and Gladys Reiter Udelhofen. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. He was a machinist at John Deere Dubuque Works until his retirement. He married Rita Dressler Nov. 16, 1945. He was a member of VFW Post 2344; and United Auto Workers Local 94, Dubuque. He is survived by his wife, Rita; two brothers, Kenneth, Belmont, and Dale, Cuba City; four sons, Rick, Bloomington, Mike, Big Patch, Mark, Lancaster , and Jeff, Downey, Calif.; one daughter, Carol Lewis, Lancaster; and seven grandchildren. Services were held at St. Clement Catholic Church, Lancaster Wednesday. Burial was in St. Andrew Cemetery, Tennyson. O'Rourke-Schwartz Funeral Home, Lancaster, was in charge of arrangements.
