He married Theresa Langkamp in Grant Cty, WI, April 17, 1917. Theresa was born in Grant Cty, WI January 12, 1892. Theresa died March 5, 1976 in Platteville, Grant Cty, WI, at 84 years of age. Her body was interred in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Tennyson, WI. Telegraph Herald March 7, 1976 Mrs. George Udelhofen Platteville, Wis. - Services for Mrs. George (Theresa) Udelhofen, 81 of Platteville, who died Friday morning at the Parkview Terrace Nursing Home here, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church here. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Tennyson, Wis. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the Mergen Funeral Home, here, where the scripture wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Harold of Platteville and Leland of Lancaster, Wis.; two daughters, Mrs. Harlyn (Alberta) Wieland of Winthrop, Iowa, and Mrs. Robert (Helen) Smith of Cuba City, Wis., 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The Reverend Father Francis Schmidt officiated with burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Tennyson. Mr. Udelhofen was born on a farm near Tennyson in Grant County, Wisconsin, on March 11, 1895. He was united in marriage to the former Theresa Langkamp on April 17, 1917. They farmed in Cornelia area until retiring in 1964 at which time they moved to Platteville. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Platteville. Survivors are two sons, Harold, Platteville, and Leland, Lancaster; two daughters, Mrs. Harlyn (Alberta) Wieland, Winthrop, Ia., and Mrs. Robert (Helen) Smith, Cuba City; 24 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Harry and Tom Udelhofen, both of Platteville, Maynard and Bernard Udelhofen, both of Dickeyville; four sisters, Mrs. Sophie Reiter, Platteville, Mrs. Oliver (Ruth) Bierman and Mrs. Phillip (Mabel) Ames, both of Potosi, and Mrs. Clyde (Bessie) Clauer, Dubuque, Ia. Funeral arrangements were made by the Mergen Funeral home, Platteville.
