He married Mary Mame Richard in Dickeyville, Grant Cty, WI, August 14, 1919. Mary was born in Paris Twsp, Grant Cty, WI March 8, 1900. Mary was the daughter of Bart Richard and Annie Uthe. Mary died February 27, 1994 in Platteville, Grant Cty, WI, at 93 years of age. Her body was interred in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Dickeyville, WI. Telegraph Herald February 28, 1994 Mrs. Frank (Mary "Mame") Udelhofen, 93, of Dickeyville, died on Sunday morning, February 27, 1994 at Parkview Terrace Nursing Home in Platteville. She was born on March 8, 1900 in Paris Township, Grant County, the daughter of Bart and Annie (Uthe) Richard. She married Frank A. Udelhofen on Aug. 12, 1919 at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville. She was a member of Holy Ghost Christian Mothers. Surviving are two daughters, Stella Timmerman of Cuba City and Mabel (William) Tobin of Potosi; one son, Wilfred (Julaine) Udelhofen of Cassville; one daughter-in-law, Ruth Udelhofen of Rockton, Il.; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 4 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Udelhofen, on July 20, 1971; a son, Ralph, on Dec. 26, 1981; and another son, Merlin, on Nov. 12, 1991. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville, with burial in the church cemetery. The Casey Funeral Home in Cuba City was in charge of the arrangements. Survivors from the Platteville are four brothers, George, Thomas, Harry and Maynard; and one sister, Mrs. Pearly Reiter. He had farmed in the area until retiring in 1966. Other survivors are his wife, Mary; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Timmerman, Cuba City, and Mrs. William Tobin, Potosi; three sons, Ralph and Wilfred, both of Dickeyville, and Merlin, Rockton, Ill.; three other sisters, Mrs. Phillip Ames, Potosi, Mrs. Clyde Klauer, Dubuque, Ia., and Mrs. Ollie Bierman, Potosi; one brother, Bernard, Dickeyville; 22 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Dickeyville.

Udelhofen, 61, of Dickeyville died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1981 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29 in Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Dickeyville, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends called until 9 p.m. Monday at the Gene Siegert & Son Funeral Home in Cuba City, where the rosary was said at 8 p.m. Monday. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Mary Udelhofen of Dickeyville; two brothers, Merlin of Rockton, Ill. and Wilfred of Dickeyville and two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Stella) Timmerman of Rt. 1, Cuba City and Mrs. William (Mabel) Tobin of Tennyson.
