26. Howard Ernest³ Cardey (Anastacia (Daisy)² Udelhofen, Nicholas¹) was born in Gordon, Douglas Cty, WI April 20, 1909. Howard died December 6, 1982 in Modesto, Stanislaus Cty, CA, at 73 years of age.

He married Gertrude May Lyon October 7, 1933. Gertrude was born in Ahwanhee, Madera Cty, CA May 28, 1912. Gertrude was the daughter of Samuel Edward Lyon and Phoebe E Hawke. Gertrude died October 27, 1989 in Stanislaus Cty, CA, at 77 years of age.

Howard Ernest Cardey and Gertrude May Lyon had the following children:

+ 88 i. Donna Eleanor⁴ Cardey (living status unknown).

+ 89 ii. Renee Denalee Cardey (still alive).
