6. Otto Theodore2 Udelhofen (Nicholas1) was born in Potosi, Grant Cty, WI February 12, 1887. Otto died August 10, 1954 in Cuba City, Grant Cty, WI, at 67 years of age.
He married Christina Burbach. Christina was born April 5, 1893. Christina died March 1, 1980 in Cuba City, Grant Cty, WI, at 86 years of age. Telegraph Herald March 2, 1980 Mrs. Christina Udelhofen Cuba City, Wis - Christina Udelhofen, 86, of Cuba City died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Cuba City Nursing Home. Her husband, Otto died Aug. 10, 1954. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church here with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Gene Siegert and Son Funeral Home here, where the Catholic Daughters of America rosary will be said at 3 p.m., and the parish rosary at 8 p.m. Mrs. Udelhofen is a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, and was the oldest member of the Catholic Daughters of America here. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Barney (Eulalia) Poblocki, Hales Corners, Wis.; a son, Francis N. of Cuba City; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson, fives sister, Mrs. Marie Splinter of Los Angeles, Mrs. Emma Little, Mrs. Theresia Little and Mrs. Walter (Margaret) Rau, all of Milwaukee, Mrs. James (Elizabeth) Becker of Dubuque and brother Francis J. Burbach of Cuba City. Cuba City News Herald August 12, 1954 Otto Udelhofen Dies Tuesday Afternoon Otto Udelhofen, age 67, seriously ill for the past eight months, died at 3:40 p.m., Tuesday, at a local hospital. He was a barber in Cuba City for 49 years, since July, 1905. Survivors include his wife, Christina; one son, Francis, of Cuba City; one daughter, Mrs. Barney (Eulalia) Poblocki, of Milwaukee, Wis.; six grandchildren; one brother, Jacob, of Potosi, Wis.; three sisters Mrs. H. A. (Daisy) Cardey of Modestoa, Cal.; Mrs. W.E. (Bertha) Turner of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. John C. (Ida) Miller of Minneapolis, Minn. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and several sisters and brothers. He was a member of the Cuba City Council No. 765, Knights of Columbus. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m., the Rev. Father Croke, pastor of St. Rose Church at Cuba City, officiating. Friends may call at the Haudenshield Funeral Home, Wednesday evening.
