85. Dewayne Gerlad⁴ Bierman (Ruth Bernadine³ Udelhofen, Gerhart (Jerry)², Nicholas¹) was born February 7, 1947. Dewayne died December 25, 2008 in Lancaster, Grant Cty, WI, at 61 years of age.

Wisconsin State Journal December 27, 2008 Bierman, DeWayne Potosi DeWayne G. Bierman, age 61, of Potosi, died on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008, at Grant Regional Health Center, Lancaster. He was born on Feb. 7, 1947, in Lancaster, the son of Oliver and Ruth (Udelhofen) Bierman. On Sept. 2, 1967, he was united in marriage to Sharon Koeller at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Potosi. DeWayne was an insurance executive with the Insurance Center for 39 years. DeWayne loved to ride his snowmobile, and enjoyed hunting. He loved working on his John Deere tractors and spending time at his home up north. DeWayne loved to spend time with his family, friends and his dogs, Brandy and Freddy. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Craig (Melissa) Bierman of Potosi, Stacey (Tony) Wagner of Oregon, Brad (Suzy) Bierman of Potosi, and Shelly (Ryan) Fecht of Potosi; his former wife, Sharon Bierman of Potosi; his grandchildren, Brandon, Will, Emily, Kylie, Claire, Sydney, Carter, Nic, and Ben; his brother and sisters, Nick (Marlene) Bierman of Stoughton, Mary Jayne (Frank) Menne of Platteville, Doris (Bob) Doerring of Lancaster, and Madonna Ashbrook of Schaumburg, Ill.; special friend, Lenore Nesler of Lancaster; sixteen nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

In addition to his parents, DeWayne was preceded in death by his brother, Sam Bierman.

Friends may join the family for a Celebration of Life Service on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, after 3 p.m. at the HOLIDAY GARDENS in Potosi. The family requests people attend in casual attire.
